Guelph sits in Wellington County rather than Waterloo Region, which changes nothing about the work and one thing about the logistics: it is a longer drive, so we plan it rather than squeeze it in. In practice that means we ask more questions before coming out, because arriving without the right part is a worse outcome here than it is ten minutes from the shop.
The building stock has its own character. The limestone and brick around downtown and the older streets behind it are handsome and thick, and they treat a wireless signal the way you would expect stone to. Meanwhile the newer business parks toward the Hanlon are the opposite problem: plenty of space, long cable runs, and a network that was sized for the company that occupied the unit before this one.
